The Derbyshire Merit will be held at Hazelwood Bowls club on Sunday 22nd June with a 10:am start.There will be a bar and refreshments but note that it is a cash only venue. The program and draw can be viewed on on the 'Derbyshire Merit 2025' tab.

Congratulations to Billy Marshall of Belper Pottery who wins the Belper & Mid Derbyshire Merit today by beating James Throw of Horsley in the final. Losing semi finalist were William Dennis (Belper Pottery) and Martin Stone-Payne ( Horsley) . All 4 players go forward to the Derbyshire Merit finals on 22nd June at Hazelwood B.C. Results can be viewed on 'Competition Results 2025' tab.

Alvaston & Boulton have dropped their team out of Wednesday Doubles Division 2 and all their fixtures are now a 'bye'.

EARLY START TIME REMINDER - Alvaston & Boulton in Division 3 in the Saturday League will start their home games at 1:00 pm ( 12:45 roll up for the away team). All their away games will start at the normal 1:30pm. Previously, Littleover 'C' in Division 1 were early starts but this not the case anymore and will all be 1:30 starts.

IMPORTANT NEWS RE PARKING AT BELPER MEADOWS - Parking fees are being introduced by the trustees of the Belper Meadows Community Sports Club from 1st May. However, there will be NO CHARGE for visiting teams but you MUST REGISTER your vehicle on arrival. You will have to enter your vehicle details on a tablet that will be positioned in the Sports Club entrance lobby on the left hand wall between the front door and the toilets and you will have to do this every time you are on site. As the tablet is located inside the Club House it is suggested that you arrive no more than 40 minutes before the scheduled start time of your match as access cannot be guaranteed to the Club House before that time.
