Hi All

Please note that as agreed at the AGM there will be no the end of season meeting for South Birmingham Ladies

Any proposals for amendments to rules need to be sent to me by 31st December so they can be sent out to member clubs for consideration prior to the AGM in February next year.

As we are not having an end of season meeting clubs will need to arrange to return any league trophies in a clean condition to me before 14th October.       PLEASE NOTE RULE 18 HAS BEEN UPDATED - CHANGES SHOWN IN RED

Each team within the South Birmingham Ladies Bowling League is only permitted to postpone a

maximum of three games each season to a later date. This excludes games that have to be rearranged due

to bad weather conditions.  If a club cannot meet a fixture, 4 days notice must be given in writing

(email, text or post) to the opposing team captain or secretary. The postponing team must also notify the

Results Secretary. Teams may, however, bring matches forward by mutual agreement. Whenever

possible, home teams should give three dates on which their green is available. Within fourteen days of

cancellation, a new date should be agreed by both teams and notified to the Results Secretary by the

original postponing team.  Failure to agree a date within 14 days, or failure to notify the

Results Secretary of either the postponement or the rearranged date, will incur a £5 fine for the

offending team. None of the above applies to matches which have to be rearranged due to

fixture clashes when League fixtures are published.

Thu 27th Mar

Please remember all matches in April and August are a 6.30pm start

Wed 26th Mar
The ladies fixtures are now live. Apologies for the delay but it has been a bit of a nightmare setting different formats for the two divisions. The league starts on Tuesday 8th April.

Division 1 will run on the same format as last year but all 5 neutral games will be at the end of the season on division one greens. As you will see the home and away matches are not consecutive weeks. Also when you click on your individual teams fixtures it doesn't identify the last five games as being on neutral greens but if you click on all fixtures you will see the neutral greens set for each match.  Just to confirm below are the last five games and the neutral greens for each match.

For the second division you are playing every team 4 times 2 home and 2 away as agreed. Again these are not consecutive.

Cup matches for the first division only are on the Competition results tabs.
