Congratulations to Rolleston A on winning the ladies champion of Champions
it was really close as the last 4 ends were going on, the rain changed the games but a good days bowling all round
thank you to belvedere for the use of the green and facilities and for the refreshments they laid on
thank you to all the helpers with measuring and marking too

Charity Cup Semi's & Final - Sunday 7th September 2025
The Charity Cup Semis & Final took place on Sunday 7th September at Stretton Anglesey.
There was some excellent bowling all day
From Section 1. Tutbury beat Newhall Social by 57 shots
From Section 2. Eureka beat Hatton by 14 shots.
After a very close fought final Tutbury beat Eureka by just 5 shots.

The Individual merit and Supplementary competition were played at Stretton Bowls Club on Sunday 27th July
After a good days bowling
Anita Mansfield beat Kerri Taylor 21-13 in the main Merit Competition
and Barbara Harrison beat Anne Shaw 21-19 in the Supplementary competition

After some great bowling all day Angela Dutton & Jackie Morris beat Desley Smith & Liz Merrick in the final 10-3

We have been informed that a problem has occurred within the bowlsNet website which is causing the results for this year to be deleted
I have managed to download results for all matches played so far for both leagues and for the home and away
I am unsure if results can still be input so if you come across any problems please let me know
just in case there is a problem for the rest of the season can you please keep a result sheet and send them to me after each match.

The posponed Ladies Champion of Champions was played on Sunday 27th April at Belmont.
The weather couldnt of been more different to the torrential rain back in September, it was a glorious sunny day.
After some exceptional bowling Rolleston A won by just 3 shots it came down to the very last 2 ends of the last 2 games on the green.

all league fee invoices need to be paid at this meeting, thank you to those that have already paid by bank transfer
