20th February 2025

Dear Delegate,

North Midlands Ladies County and Mid Warwickshire Ladies County have been working together to review the league affiliation status and fee structure.  This collaborative working has been taking place to ensure the least financial burden to clubs and delegates and to ensure security around league status.  As a result the following decisions have been agreed relating to affiliation and league fee structure.  This information is shared for your information and if you have any queries please send them directly to both midwarwickshireladies@mail.com and jackiebowl@icloud.com .

Affiliation:

Both Nuneaton Ladies League and North Midlands Ladies League remain secondary affiliated to North Midlands Ladies County.  For clarity primary affiliation is to North Midlands Men’s County but the leagues must have a secondary affiliation to be able to run the leagues and there is no current requirement for either leagues to move their affiliation.

Fee Structure:

The current fee structure from North Midlands Ladies annual fees are £10 per registered player who plays within the season, this was voted and agreed at the North Midlands Ladies AGM held in November.  As a result of Mid Warwickshire Ladies county forming it has been agreed to split this fee with Mid Warwickshire for those clubs within the North Midlands Ladies league.  This will be an interim payment of £5 x 84 players initially with a reconciling amount later in the season.

Clubs with players in the Mid-Warwickshire team will be billed an nominal £5 as per BCGBA guidelines to allow for a further secondary affiliation – this is not per player just per club.

The above aims to ensure the least disruption in regards to affiliation and also does not increase the current county fees payable by clubs which we feel is an excellent arrangement.  This agreement is for 1 year as an interim solution and will be reviewed prior to the next county AGM meetings to allow a review and new proposals to be discussed if relevant.

We appreciate this issue can be somewhat complex regarding affiliation but we trust we have your support to enable us to run two successful county teams and retain the future of our leagues.  We are also happy to discuss any points with any member if required.

Kind Regards

Mid Warwickshire Ladies County & North Midlands Ladies County
