North Shropshire Ladies Merit

There were 8 entries for the ladies merit which was held at Hanmer Bowling Club on Sat 7th June. Some very good bowling on a tricky green. A tight first round between Elaine Jones and Tina Ralphs saw, Tina winning on the last end 21-20. The semi-finals saw Tina and Olive (Pass) playing another close round, with Olive wining the fight. The other semi-final saw Sally Webb win against Amanda Hare. The final between Sally and Olive was spectacular with both players playing well, with Olive winning the evening and securing her place in the BCGBA Merit final and Champion of Champs.

First County game 2025 North Shropshire Ladies v Warwick and Worcester

Great first game of the season. Both home and away teams put in a great fight, but well done to Warwick and Worcester, who played Hadnall very well winning 474-390. Thank you to Hadnall Bowling Club and their members for hosting he game. Good luck to the team for their next game on 15th June against North Midlands.
